Japanese Millet Seed - Japanese Millet is a warm season annual grass from Asia grown to a limited extent in the Northeastern States for green feed, silage and hay. Japanese Millet is superior under cool summers to sudangrass or foxtail millet. Stems reach to 4 feet or more. Leaves are large, more than 0.5 inch broad. Japanese millet grows well in wet soils but will also grow on well-drained upland soils.

Planted at 10-15 lbs. per acre.

Japanese Millet is preferred over Browntop Millet in areas where water may stand.

Fertilize with 200 lbs. of 16-04-08 per acre
