Bicolor Lespedeza Seed - Bicolor Lespedeza is a perennial shrub that grows 6 to 10 feet high (Imported types may only reach 5-7 feet). It is a legume that supplies its own nitrogen. Lespedeza seed attract Quail and other game birds and the plant itself is used for erosion control. Establish by seeds or plants.

Planting: Plant in spring / summer after frost is past.
Planting Rate: 15 lbs per acre or 1/2 lb. per 1000 sq. ft.

Methods of use:

  • Strips in open woodland - 15 to 20 ft. wide
  • Field and woodland borders - 15 to 20 ft. wide.
  • Hedges and fence rows.
  • In gullies and on dikes.
