Hancock's Spring & Summer Food Plot Seed Blend - our special blend offers 3 high quality, high protien legumes to bring in the deer when native browse has become tough and low in nutrition.  The sorghum and millet help protect the legume seedlings from early over browse.  After the iron clay peas, aeschynomene and alyce clover are established, deer will utilize their tender buds all summer until the first hard frost. Depending on your food plot location, this mix can still be drawing deer well into hunting season.

Our blend will provide nutrition throughout the spring and summer into the fall until the first hard frost.  In most locations our spring and summer mix will continue to feed your deer herd into the first part of hunting season.

15% Hulled Aeschynomene
25% Alyce Clover
40% Iron/Clay Cowpeas
10% WGF Sorghum
10% Browntop Millet
Scarified and Pre-Inoculated

Planting:  Mix with FERTILIZER for even spreading results
Plant 25 - 50 lbs. per acre April 1st - October 1st.
Fertilize with 200 - 400 lbs. 5-10-15 per acre.
Lime 400 lbs. per acre if needed.
