Blazer 4 – Perennial Ryegrass
Blazer 4 is a Perennial Rye grass that has a low growth characteristics, with a fine leaf texture and high stress tolerance to hot and humid conditions. Blazer 4 is a high endophyte variety (at 80% plus). As a new generation perennial ryegrass, Blazer 4 is featured for its lower growing, finer leaf texture, above average density, excellent seedling vigor and establishment, and excellent winter hardiness.
Hancock Seed Company recommends Blazer 4 where higher quality turf is desired. Blazer 4 can be mixed with bluegrasses and fescues, as well as overseeding on dormant Bermuda grasses. There is little maintenance involved when using Blazer 4 due to the low and slow growth characteristics.
Uses: Lawns, sports turfs, golf course, and overseeding.
