Millet Bird Seed
Millet bird seed is high in starch and is a great food source for small birds. Millet seed is particularly favored by finches, juncos, buntings, sparrows and towhees, both when offered in feeders and on the ground. Millet bird seed can be offered in small tube feeders and hopper feeders. Millet seed can be easliy grown in a bird garden for a natural food source. Many varieties of millet are commonly used for bird feed. Some of other common Millet seed varieties are Proso, Browntop, Japanese, Foxtail and many others.
