Chicory is perennial herb forage and is highly nutritional for summer and fall feedings. An excellent forage for cattle and deer that withstands heavy grazing. Chicory has a deep taproot, is very drought resistant and high in mineral as well as protein content. Great for deer habitat for the mineral advantages and can be planted with other crops like legumes and grasses.
